This went on and on until he was 8 or 9.
True facts: he would overwrite my Ruby game without even asking so often, for the longest time I never played through Gen III all the way and only got to like the first or second gym.

The first time my little brother got his own games I kept on overwriting his shit just to spite him and when my mom found out I got grounded and my little brother got one of my games (he chose Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets, I've still never finished that game).

Fuck me, I'm still bitter about this shit.

Motherfucker, me too (on the last part). I bought him his first game, SS, when he was eight. In fact, I've bought him nearly every Pokémon game he has (FR, Emerald, Pt, B). Now X and Y are out and I won't be living anywhere near him...

But I'm fucking taking the day off work and the train home so we can go down together to buy our Gen VIs and play them all weekend.

I love my little brother more than anything in the world.

My older brother was the one who introduced me to pokemon. I don't live with him anymore as my parents divorced and i live with my mom. He probably wouldn't get me a pokemon game. I usually got the save files. And he thinks X and Y is "gay" ._.

Oh boy so here we go. Originally I did forgive him because he used his own money that he earned from mowing the lawn to buy FR/LG, and then he gave me FireRed. Later he took the game back from me because he lost his and my mom sided with him.
At that point I had already finished it so I didn't really care that much, and instead played some Ruby, looking on the bright side that at least he cared enough to give me the game in the first place.

Later on I learned that my dad made him give me FireRed because of all the shit my brother and mom put me through and that my brother didn't want to give me the game and was in fact planning on rubbing it in that he had both games.

I don't live with my bro any more since I'm at uni (finished 2nd year) but we talk every day with iMessage. He's gone on holiday in France and doesn't have wifi, it's been so hard not having him...

He starts secondary school this sept, the same one I went to, but because of work commitments (that's right, I study and work) I couldn't make either his last day of primary or first day of secondary... so going home to get XY with him is in part to make up for that.

I did something like the whole "brother deletes file" thing. My cousin asked me for my Pokemon game (Emerald). At this time, I had two Emerald versions. I found the second one, which I only got past the second Gym in, and released all of my Pokemon except for a Magikarp, and went to name it "FUCK U" (because I was #supredgy back then), and gave it to him. I told him that I took the extra time to prepare a team of my best Pokemon for him and getting rid of the "useless" ones so that he'd have room for his own catches. Somehow, he believed me, and turned it on just before he left for Delaware again. I looked out the window and I could see him screaming. I was a tool.

I wish my parents would have bought my brother a Gameboy Color and his own copy of Pokémon. They could have easily afforded it. They just didn't see the point when I already had one. No matter how many times I told them, they didn't grasp the idea of games only having one save. They looked at all games like they were arcade games.
