Maybe I just didn't have that good of an opponent. But I used a Venusaur to put my opponents' lucario to sleep, and then switched to ursaring to finish him off. Besides a Gengar, they didn't have much to counter it.

It's superior for a hit and run playstyle. Toxic does less than flame before three turns and ursaring should be played as a wallbreaker not a sweeper.

Scisor is one of the most used pokemon in OU
I see a shit ton of Ferrothorns, Rain is popular thus so is politoad. Salamance/Dragonite/Haxasaurous/Garchomp /dragons/

He is most effective at stalling and walling. With Poison Heal, Protect, Sub, and Toxic he can toxistall a lot of moms with very little effort. His spectacular ground/flying typing helps him even more
