ALSO, explain how you pick your team. Do you plan out your team before you even start the game, or do you just wing it? Do you use a full team of six or less? Do you ever box your starter? Do you pick Pokemon based on how they look or how they perform or a balance of both? How do you maintain even levels, or do you even care about that? Personally I plan out my entire team before starting a game, I always have a full team of six, I never box my starter, I usually have looks and type balance as the primary factors in my decisions, and I try to never have any member be more than one level higher than any other.
