I love grass Pokemon, but I'm currently playing through White 2 and I already have this thing stored in the Box (before the 7th Gym even) because I couldn't stand how useless it is.

Do whatever you want, but Leech Seed plus Coil lets it wall anything it isn't weak to and it can kill almost anything with Leaf Blade in 2 or less hits. It's really not bad at all, I'm not sure what you were doing wrong.

But we're stuck with Coil Leaf Blade.

You are not a bad person. I replaced mine with Lilligant, who functions great with Sleep Powder, Leech Seed, Quiver Dance, and Petal Dance.

Considering they're shutting down fifth gen access to Dream World in September, there's no shame whatsoever in using external programs to get unreleased Dream World abilities.

I won't judge you, but in BW2, Serperior can learn Aqua Tail and Iron Tail by move tutor, which I think that coupled with Coil and Leaf Blade makes a somewhat decent moveset.

Of course, if you have a better idea for your team, do as you please.

OP if what you want are grass types try Lilligant, Whimsicott or Leavanny. All of them are way more useful than Serperior.

My fav started of Gen 5 is Snivy and I love Serperior. I always pick him and keep him in my party. IDK why you people think he is useless, yes there are better Grass Type Pokemon but that doesn't mean you can't use him.

I can train him towards Attack or Special Attack and I get the same result. A Pokemon I love and I enjoy training.

If you can't stand the 5 weaknesses and the shallow movepool then Pick the bacon or the otter... Or just don't use your started like most fags here on /vp/...

It's how you use them man. When you get this guy, you have a secondary choice of either making it a physical or special attacker or staller. The staller is the one who beat me.

If a pokemon is good at a role, and another is simply better, it is considered outclassed. As a bulky grass type available in BW, Serperior is outclassed by Ferrothorn and Amoongus, and a ton of other Pokemon from previous generations if we include BW2.

Obviously you're retarded, but Garchomp cannot fulfill all the roles needed in a successful team.

Jellicent is more Bulky and has a great niche as a bulky water but doesn't complete fulfill Samurott's role, Swanna is useless without Hydration making it pretty worthless in game, Carracosta is the best Water type in Gen V, but Samurott does have its places (on the special attacking side, for one).

I've played Blaze Black and even with Contrary it sucks, don't feel bad, it is statistically the worst starter due to the fact it's weak to the second, third and sixth gym, has lackluster offensive stats and barely decent defensive. I fail to see the point in a speed tank.

one of the worst starters aside from like feraligatr/magnium but it's one of my favorite pokemon design wise. It's movepool drags early game until leaf blade but it is quite defensive and coil is useful. but it's a fucking grass snake that is named fucking serpent + superior how the fuck is that shit not awesome

I used Serperior in one of My W2 runs and it was decent. Coil,Leaf Blade,Aqua Tail, and Dragon Tail\Return is all you need for ingame. It also helps that it'll wall physical attacks after a few Coils.
