I wonder if this would mean a rise in the number of Speedy Hyperbeam leads. You get out that first hyperbeam, then let your lead go, and somewhere down the line you've got that trick dice to worry about with Hyperbeam BP.

It would certainly put a lot of emphasis on getting out OR preventing a strong, opening attack first in the first round of combat.

HOWEVER, does it only count the first move in the battle with a BP? Or if you get out a Stealth Rock first, does it fuck up trick dice?

What's the fastest pokemon that learns explosion? Naturally, it would be choice Banded.

also Ghost leads would counter both Explosion and Hyper Beam so they should also pack a strong Dark or Ghost move just in case.
