Ironic considering Ash had the best team that saga.

Paul was the only good rival. Gary was almost nonexistant for most of the anime, Trip was pathetic as fuck like most of the Unova saga and the other guy from Hoenn is so forgettable that the only thing I remember is that he had a Beldum.

Paul was handled very well and I'm almost certain that we'll never get a character that well fleshed out ever again seeing as the anime is somehow getting even worse than it already is.

I honestly wish Paul would come back, because Gary sure as hell isn't, since he's just Oak Lite now.

Honestly I love the old episodes, but Sinnoh really was some of the best the show had to offer.
