For PMD Red I believe I got lucky and started out as my favorite Pokemon Charmander the first time that I play it.

There is usually a good chance of me getting a Mudkip whenever I try the quiz without looking at anything so it seem like just doing all of the questions and averaging them up is a good way to do it. There is always the random factor of course as you only get 8 questions.
