What's the dumbest thing you've ever used a master ball on.
When I was a kid I used it on a magneton,
Than I released it in vain hoping I would get my master ball back.

I used one on Resharim because I was time-pressed for some reason I can't remember. I later find out that it had a really high catch rate for a Legendary.

I wish I had stories like this. The only thing I can think is retarded is using it on Rayquaza in Emerald so I had it to sweep the Elite Four. I regretted not using it on Groudon, that fucker takes forever to catch (not Kyogre though, just send in a Shedinja and spam Net Balls).

I never used a Master Ball except in the Orre games. The closest moment that I would consider to be stupid would be me using it on Nascour's Metagross instead of Evice's Tyranitar. Well that was before I found out about that glitch.

During Diamond/Pearl I bugged my friend who had Diamond pretty late at night asking him to catch me a murkrow for my pokedex. The next day when he traded it to me I noticed it was in a masterball, asked him to check his bags for his masterball and he freaked out. I felt bad and just traded him mine.

Me and my brother played Red on the Gameboy SNES device. We both shared the game because we were too god awful to beat it without the other person figuring out stuff for us.

We beat it. Slapped Lance over and over a few times. Then one day walking through grass when a Pokemon Ive never seen before appears. But we've seen so many pokemon! Never this one! Masterball!

The first time I ever got it I didn't believe that it worked every time, so I saved my game and just started catching shit with it, loading my save and trying it again.

Okay, besides that, you said you believed it was rare because of the pokedex entry; however, you wouldn't have known about the pokedex entry unless you've already caught one.

You could have looked it up online, but by that point you should've known about how rare that Pokemon was.

Never used it on anything stupid. I was 8 when I got Red way back when, and I kind of made unlimited ones anyway. I also used the cloning glitch on Silver when I got it to make more masterballs and rare candy's.

I keep hoarding it to catch the roaming legendaries. I don't think I've ever NOT used a Master Ball on Entei, for example. Raikou I caught in a lucky strike with an Ultra Ball thrown at once, shit was random. Also Latios/Latias is static in BW2 and Suicune in HGSS/Crystal

The only thing that I like to use Master Balls on are roaming legendaries, I prefer catching other legendaries on my own.

The only time that I didn't use it on any legendary was when I used it on a Relicanth in gen 3 that took me hours to find. It kept using head smash and was about to kill itself.
I already had all the legendaries on a newer game at this time, so it didn't bother me

So i used it on a first pokemon i saw. That was long ago on Gold. And you know what...i didn't even cared about catch rate. I think all i used were pokeballs. Just trhow over 9000 of them and that's how you roll.
I don't even remenber if i KNEW it was a master ball.

I noticed i didn't had a Metapod in the dex so i was going to catch a Caterpie. I found a wild Metapod. Threw around 15 Ultra Balls with no success before throwing the Master Ball.
