I'm continuing to refine my process. Ignoring what's going on here, though. I have done an extensive analysis of the summon requirements for L:12 monsters to see if there is a common mentality on what it should be. Most of them take 3 monsters to summon, however, I tried to take in account how many monsters THOSE monsters take to summon, since they do most often are already monsters that need a tribute themselves. The least I saw was it just being 3 monsters, no extra requirements since you don't need to summon those monsters, they just need to be in your hand. There are only a couple of the 3 summon monsters where you can bypass the summon requirements for their materials. I don't think there's any way to bypass using the materials entirely since most of them are Fusion or Synchro monsters. Otherwise, they are Effect monsters that can ONLY be summoned by their conditions. If I were to do a raw count, though, if you do summon things in the proper manner, the amount may be closer to 5, which is also a number that seems to be tossed around a lot at L:12. The worst I've seen are monsters that need 3 tributes, but those tributes all require 3 tributes themselves to summon. (the tributes for one can be bypassed, but you had better be able to do the tribute for the L:12 on that turn since they will only be on the field for that turn) A total of 12 cards to summon one monster. Both of these cards are broken, although one less so than the other. The least I've seen is a chain that totals only 2 monsters. They're both already a special summon, so this chain can be done in one turn. In fact, ALL of them are a Special Summon chain that could be done in one turn, assuming you can special summon the high level monsters needed for some of them. (You can, they don't have effects or traits that would block that) These chains were all over the map, though. There is not a single prevalent method, unless you count the three of them that happen to be Synchro monster
