They're going to add more Pokemon of course. There's now a way for them to bring things like Sunflora that never had a chance to shine into the limelight.

It's not going to help shit if they're also throwing it to already good Pokemon like Blaziken, Mewtwo, Lucario, etc. As if Gamefreak is competent at balancing Pokemon this way.

So? Then they could have buffed it by giving it a nice dream world ability or a good new move. Getting a new form won't do shit to help it that much if they're also giving it to all these already good Pokemon. And if these new forms are limited in distribution, then other things will fall down to be where Ampharos is now. It doesn't help anything.

You're assuming they'll be equally buffed. Who says this won't be just a small boost to speed for Blaziken and a giant boost to every stat for Ampharos? That's a bit of an extreme but you get my point.
