its like there answer to the "balance" problem is just leaving a pokemon broken, but giving it an "upgraded" form/evolution?

or they are taking an actually good pokemon, and making it so good its broken?

I guess it's just so that Pokemon who are ridiculously mediocre like Ampharos who weren't helped by their dream world abilities finally have a chance to possibly shine.

Like how everyone kept going on about how fairy type on Clefairy wouldn't mean shit because Clefairy is awful anyway.
