What if Team Flare are involved with introducing Pokémon to an enhanced form? This could explain how mega evolutions are recent to the Pokémon world.

Never gave a crap about Digimon. But I'm not butthurt about this reveal, as many others are. I just hope that has something to do with an item/project/experiment that reveals a Pokémon's true form, this theory matches the theme of the game. Team Flare better have something to do with it.

I hope it's not "we recently discovered that Pokémon can suddenly grow into an enhanced form" just like the whole thing of "we recently discovered steel and dark types" for Generation 2.

This is probably what it is. Just the villains fucking with Pokemon genetics (HMMMM) and creating these insane forms, which the player will probably end up getting access to the tools to do this to his or her own Pokemon after defeating them.

I don't see what the big deal is. The games have toyed with alternate forms before.

I wonder how will it work? What will be the requirements? I see a lot of possibilities with it. Maybe it will give bigger boost to some pokemon then to some others. Maybe Blaziken will only get some generic boost from it but a weaker like Dunspace will become something insane from it.

Obvious troll, but OPINIONS. I personally liked the anime and toys more for digimon, but looks? I'd say they're equally good and bad.
I love the Digimon World games, even 4, just like Pokemon.

I'd say they're still quite different though, since we don't have such a complicated evolution system. Hoping to see more digimon games out though, since competition stirs up some good stuff.

At most the stats get redistributed. Some pokes get new types some dont. all of them get new abilities. That and the new forms make the abilities obviously visible to the opponent so there is less mind games (something GF has made a concerted effort to get rid of)
