The way I see it, Mega Formes are going to allow a LOT of Pokemon who were no longer viable in the competitive scene to suddenly be useful again like Blaziken, Absol and Lucario.

I honestly can't tell if this is supposed to be sarcastic or not. Ampharos and Mawile would have been better examples though.

Really, it just seems to me like they realized the power creep and are using this to put every fully evolved Pokemon on an even, probably extremely overpowered playing field.
