A lot of my favorite pokemon were my favorites because I loved their design. With the mega evolutions, they are going to become overdesigns messes like the ones they already shown.
GF messes up Whimsicott's design. ;_;

You like two of them, which is a good sign, it means that you are fine with the concept (two a point), that way you can actually enjoy designs that you like.

You wait and hope for the best and keep and open mind.

I for one liked all of them in their own way, though I can see where they can go wrong.

They're all pretty meh, though a lot of people are going completely overboard as to just how "over designed" they are, this is no where near Digimon tier.

Mega Blaziken isn't that bad.

That is, save for somewhat random positioning of red/black patches of feathers.

...and those fiery ribbons that have unwrapped themselves off its forearms.

Absol, Ampharos and Mewthree look at least just as good as their base state.

It is Lucario that fills me with worries. Second/third most recognizable Pokemon... and GF saw no damage in supplying it with the most repulsive final form out of all the ones that got revealed so far.

yeah they kinda are if you wish to play multiplayer and win you most likely will have to use megas
and no its not like fairy, fairy was just a type their were other options megas will be assuredly better versions of what is out now, and you will have to use them or lose

The PokeJungle tweets say that it is reversible, and you have to use a hold item known as a Megastone, I doubt Megastone would outclass things like Life orb or Leftovers on all Pokemons at all times. Once again, you are not being forced.
