Explain to me how you can like Mega Evolutions designs so far. They are shit especially since they added nonsensical details on Pokemon whose designs were already acceptable. Not to mention that MegaAbsol literally looks like a Deviantart fursona.

Want to know what I like about them? Okay, they add a new interesting mechanic, we have no idea how it works, yet peopl complain about it. A lot of people say it will destroy competitive play, but that already wasn't balanced so it can't get any worse. The desings so far are great, I love them(well Ampharos is kinda weird but I can live with that) and I can't wait to see more, especially more Mega starters. The only complain i have is the naming itself, seriously, who the hell decided that just putting "Mega" before the name was a good idea?

Mega Lucario is okay but they should not have added red to the color scheme.
Mega Absol is gay as fuck.
Mega Ampharos had a nice idea--making him more wooly--but it looks dumb.
It looks like he literally has hair, like human hair, instead of sheep wool.

I'm not sure how I feel about the fact that they aren't new Pokemon, or that we won't get any real evolutions of previous Pokemon again (except Eevee). But I like the designs themselves. I think MegaLucario is a bit weird, but it could be pretty strong.

Just adding wool means Ampharos lucked out. I'd imagine that's what it would look like if it were from Gen V, which had mostly simply designs with a hilarious accessory.
