I've just realised something. If mega forms are only applicable to final form pokemon, and we've seen some for Mawile and Absol for example, does that mean that any pokemon that gets one won't ever evolve again in the series because if they did then they would have to scrap the 'mega' form design and pretend it never existed which works with retconning types and evo methods but not a design or stage completely. Think about it. So if all pokemon get mega mode then either this means we're coming to the end of the franchise or we'll just never get evolutions of older pokemon ever again.
