>>13324466super gimmicky. pokemon that can fly is such an arbitrary group to create a whole new battle mode for - all flying types and pokemon with levitate? why do they have their own special type of battle while water pokemon and other who can swim, who are actually a bigger and more diverse group, don't have one? (though for the record adding either seems stupid imo)
it makes Ice, Electric. and Rock moves completely overpowered within that meta, and it seriously limits the variety of strategies you can run. sure some people with have fun with it, but i really think if they were looking to build a new method of battle, they could have gone with something a lot better and more interesting than sky battles.
then again, maybe a lot more interesting aspects to the mode just haven't been announced/ i've overlooked.
