>>13324459I think it should just be for key Pokemon like the starters, and a way of giving some Pokemon a well-needed buff, either in popularity or actual gameplay. Sort of like how Mawile and Absol were affected. Hell, gen 3 alone has Cacturne, Gardevoir, Sharpedo, Crawdaunt, Camerupt, Manectric, Sableye, Zangoose, Seviper, and the two sun/moon themed rocks that could probably make use of mega forms.
As long as it doesn't get in the way of ensuring we get the 100+ new Pokemon each gen brings to the table.
