Information regarding "Mega Evolutions", I've known this for a couple of days but was waiting for it to be revealed first before further elaborating on it. Mega Evolutions are what the English version is using, by the way, so "Mega Lucario, Mega Blaziken" and such are what they'll be known as in English as well.

* First off, "Mega Stones" are rare, expendable items that are found during the game in various places...there is not a limited amount of them, however, but you will have to put some effort into gathering them. Mega Stones are held by a Pokemon, and only 1 Pokemon within your current Party can be holding one.
* In battle, when the Pokemon holding the Mega Stone is out, an option appears on the touch-screen allowing you to activate a Mega Evolution, which can be done at any time without penalty, however it uses up the Mega Stone. This instantly occurs but the Pokemon cannot act till its next turn.
* Mega Pokemon have increases stats, different Abilities, and changed Typing, but also have a unique effect in that they slowly lose HP each turn as if they were Poisoned (and in fact they can be Poisoned as well costing them extra HP), and in-battle healing items are unable to be utilized. If they are switched out, or faint, they revert back to their original form. Mega Pokemon do not gain EXP when defeating Pokemon in-game.
* Pokemon without a Mega Evolution who hold a Mega Stone gain extra EXP.
* The item being called"Blazikenite" mentioned is not related to Mega Evolution; through WiFi, there's a new function where you and a player can breed two Pokemon together and each obtain an Egg. On occasion, rare items are created that hold the power of the final form of the mother that can be equipped to the lower forms raising their stats, in this case Blazikenite being attached to Torchic or Combusken.
