Have we achieved our new phrase? Like is this going to really become deeply-seated in the franchise?
What I mean is that I'm really looking forward to this megavolution being something really deeply-rooting itself in the franchise. It's almost a staple of anything Japanese, and honestly, I would not mind Pokemon experimenting a little bit.
But in the end, are we going to all shout at our 3DSs, in true Digimonesque fashion, "LUCARIO MEGAVOLVE TO...
MEGALUCARIO!" or something akin to that? Doesn't have quite the same ring, can we all agree to put "mon" at the end of the pokemon name when we do this phrasing to make it less awkward? Then again, I imagine most people who do this will be lambasted as faggots. Probably true, in many regards, but I rather like the way that "megavolve" has rather instantly become a staple term in the Pokemon fandom.
It's a good topic for discussion.
