huge power doubles their attack not their base stat. so it's actually the equivalent of around 220 base attack

OP I don't think you understand how huge power works.

With huge power, and an 85 base attack stat, Mawile will have the highest recorded attack stat in the game by more than like 100 points.

A Mawile with an adamant nature, 31 attack IV and 252 EV's invested in its attack stat will amount to having an attack stat of 590.

It does not double its base attack stat, it doubles what its current attack stat is.

And that's IF they don't increase its attack stat like they did for Lucario and Absol.

Scary...

Its still going to be frail and slow unless its Mega form gives it a huge stat boost which I don't see.We have had Huge Power with Azumarill for a while now who is much better than Mawile.

Now something people SHOULD be reacting over is how Mega Lucario got ADAPTABILITY

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if their base stats ended up being higher than that either. GF has been pushing the limit for TBS ever since Arceus (and even hinted that there would be pokemon in future generations that will have stronger stats)

I doubt there will be a pokemon with higher stats, since Arceus is technically the ultimate pokemon, not just a legendary guardian or artificial pokemon.

If there happens to be one I believe it will have a hindrance, so he won't have effectively all that stats.

It's slow and frail and it'll have to rely on Sucker Punch to get a hit off which it doesn't even get Stab from.

It also loses the out on having an item boost because of the MegaStone.

We also don't know what allows it to go Mega and if it it requires a turn to transform it's completely useless.

Get more information before heralding it as good.

Deoxys-A has 180 base power.
A level 100 Deoxys-A has an attack stat of 504.

Mawile has 85 base power.
A level 100 Mawile has an attack stat of 295.

If it had Huge Power, it would have an attack stat of 590. More than Deoxys-A, even though 85×2 is less than 180.
