Does anyone else feel a little bit better about MEGAEVOLUTIONS after watching the trailer and maybe sleeping over it?

Because I sure do and am at the point where I'm actually nearly neutral about it and don't want to kill my cat anymore like yesterday.

The Megas they've showed off so far are just odd choices. I like Blaziken, but I'm absolutely sure showing off someone like Charizard would get more hype.

Yeah, it's really like they just chose a few completely random Pokémon and showcased them.

They need to start showing some more dragon and fairy types megavolutions.

I'm actually quite sad because they're only in-battle and possibly event exclusive. I also want every single evolution line to have one but they probably won't.

So I don't mind mega evos (I think the concept is stupid but that's another argument entirely) of three stage Pokemon like Blaziken or Ampharos (In fact this is the best thing for Ampharos really, plus I really like the new do) and for Mewtwo, which makes sense because being a clone means he can't even evolve naturally.

Absol, Lucario and Mawile though? Two one stage evolutions and a two stage evolution is unnecessary if you ask me and the fact we can't interact with them outside of battle or give these Pokemon items kind of pisses me off.

Other than the actual concept I quite like the designs. I like how Ampharos grew his hair out and started using conditioner, I like Mawile's pigtails, Lucario's dreads are nice and I even like how Absol let its hair grow. Blaziken's balding problem is sort of worrying though I'll admit.

I loved it when they were special evo/forms, then hated it when they said it was battle only.
Now I'm cool with it.
