So I guess this means that all mega evolutions need their version of the mega stone. That's probably why "Blaziken Knight" was being thrown around.

You can also see what I think is the mega stone during all of the mega evolutions. Does that mean they're a one time use type deal?

Also, why is it limited to only being distributed in this special event, and not found anywhere in-game (at least that is what I take from reading what it says in the video). Is this going to be a limited time only thing? Either way, I'm glad I pre ordered the game in full already.

Yes, the pokemon is a gen 3 starter, but why not have the mega stone in the game other than it being specially distributed with this special event?

Because events somewhat increases sales at launch. If you are thinking of postponing buying the game and you see that you won't be able to get that event Pokemon later on you might reconsider. Happened to me with White 2.

Yeah, no. You're retarded, OP. The Mega Stone is NOT available during gameplay. There's no way they'd give it out for it to disappear when you use it. Plus, if you only got one, you'd have to wait for other possible events to get others so it would be a horrible move to make it consumable. Plus Gamefreak didn't make more than one MegaEvolution and make the item required for said MegaEvolutions consumable.
