Poison isn't that bad. It's a good utility type because of it automatically erases toxic spikes and it's immune to toxic. It'll be even better this gen since it's SE against Fairy.

Has it been confirmed? God I want my poison types to be more useful. They are kinda rejects though considering it feels like half of them are just paired with grass.

I have a competitive poison team that kicked shit in worlds 2010. Swiftswim Qwilfish exploding Kyogres left and right, Crobat superfanging the shit out of palkias and groudons, Drapion never fucking dying, and Tentacruel cleaning up survivors with surf, ice beam, and giga drain.

I've wanted a Smog or Acid Rain weather condition for a while. Something that auto poisons all other pokemon or cuts special defense in half or something. It has to raise gunk shot to 100 accuracy too.

A lot of poison types have pretty good movepools and abilities plus they resist fighting and are only weak to ground and psychic (who the fuck uses psychic moves though?)
They are pretty decent at not dying. The main key to them is just never using poison type moves.
