As we are all going argle-barble over how we now have the bastard child of two of the best mon series on our plate; why not have a chat about our preferences and whatnot.
In my opinion when it comes to the animes I much prefer Digimon, the characters had character development and backgrounds that weren't generic "I wanna be the best" stuff.
Plus the filler was more substantial, in Pokémon the filler was highly forgettable more often than not, while Digimon tended to have filler that did more than just show off a monster of the week.
I could go on but I'll save it for if this thing lasts long enough
