Yo man, what if there were capitalist systems of free market trading of pokemon. This way, trainers in different regions could buy the new pokemon from distant, faraway lands. Or if a trainer took them with them when they travelled to a different region?

But I'll play along. Maybe Mega stones are only found in Kalos, hence Mega Pokemon only being in Kalos. We've seen that kind of stuff before. Region to Region, Excluding Johto and Kanto, seem to have almost no distribution Pokemon or item-wise. Plus with shit in Hoenn like massive earthquakes and tarnados ravaging the region, it's safe to say each region is pretty spread out
