No sir I don't like it

It and Mawile should have received normal evolutions, Absol's decent enough to be used in normal gameplay. Of course, a Dunsparce and Mawile evo getting a Mega version would also be great.

this is what I fear the most about mega evolutions, gamefreak might throw it around and think it's a good substitute for normal evolutions and thus not do them.

Well, there's still hope.

If not every Pokemon is getting a mega, then that means there's still a bunch of existing species that can get a proper evolution.

Of course, poor Mawile is left out of that group, and Sableye's chances aren't great either.
