I just wish they went for a darker pink, or something to balance the colours a bit in the bottom.
As is it just feels needlessly clashy.

Pic related, would've preferred something like this (and always felt it not distinct enough to be a real evo)

I see this a lot about the megas and I'm really curious why? What does a regular evolution give you that a mega doesn't? Keeping in mind we know VERY little about how drastically megas change stats and such.
Really to me the only downside is the lack of hold item. But if GF makes their stats jump large enough then lacking hold item shouldn't be much of a drawback.

Same. Mawile is one of my favourites as well and I absolutely fucking love MegaMawile. But the fact you need a Megastone or w/e to evolve it in battle means it's lack of item could gimp it a bit. Kinda disappointed with that.

You misunderstand. You can use as many Mega Stones as you want at any time, but there is only one for any given Pokemon. There is only one Lucarionite, only one Mewtwoite, etc. They have unique names but they're all classified as Mega Stones, thus the reason you can only have one of each, but a whole lot of them in your bag.

TL;DR: There's no restriction on how many Mega Stone-equipped Pokemon you can have in your party. (For now, anyway)

No. They revealed today that you could only use one per battle, but they didn't clarify it. What I think it means is that you can have a full team of Pokemon with potential Mega Forms and Mega Stones, but the game will only allow one to Mega Evolve per battle. Probably to keep teams from being too powerful and give people a reason to still use other Pokemon.
