If Dedenne looks like it should evolve into Raichu, do you think it will actually evolve into something that looks like Pikachu should evolve into?

I want it to evolve but I know it won't. It's okay though, even though they're on the weaker side all the pikachu clones have been perfectly useable in game.

Since Marill. I really think Marill was the Pikaclone of gen 2, not Pichu. The only thing is that it was Water type instead of Electric.

Every pikaclone is for showing a feature of that generation.

This pikaclone can megaevolve. That's all that makes sense in my opinoon.

You're wrong. Pichu was the pikaclone that showed the gimmick that is baby pokémon. This makes it the pikaclone of that gen.

Pichu wasn't a clone.

Pikablu was a clone. It even has an evolution that directly parallels Pikachu's gen 1 line.
