You discovered the internet and more people like you who will judge you for your way of playing, and now you take that into consideration
Your child self would've love the shit out of the mega thing just because it sounds awesome. Then you hear people call it childish and stupid, and feel that if you as much as take a liking to it without judging it first you're a kid too.
It's a stupid concept, like how one stops to watch cartoons because they're for kids
