I don't understand why people freak out about no evolutions.
Isn't getting a Mega form BETTER?
I mean, with an evolution, their specific goal is to change the pokemon. Look at Magmar to Magmortar.. Murkrow to Honckrow.. They all drastically change in design and purpose. They CHANGE your pokemon.
Not that change is a bad thing necessarily (I happen to like each one of those examples), but if your pokemon that you're wishing for gets an evo, you probably love the shit out of it, so getting an evo would change what you like about it. Plus an evolution presents a chance to ruin it. Right?
A Mega form instead keeps the pokemon as is, adds a temporary super buffed version of itself to spice it up and balance it. It keeps the essence of it's original design, even while mega. Isn't that completely better?
