I gotta say I don't know how I feel about it... Reminds me a lot of the power creep in the TCG. I imagine soon everything is going to need to be megaevolved just to compete, depending on how much it boosts stats.

Anyway megaevolved Blazkien... does that count as a 4th stage? I'd say it's close enough. And I'm not surprised at all. The only thing I'm upset about is Dedenne.

Let me add that one reason I MIGHT not like megaevolutions depends on how they work. I'll be upset if Pokemon does get to the point when everything viable is megaevolved. I'd like to be able to use my old favorite Pokemon still. If there are enough ways to stop a megaevolution and it stays confined to a few Pokemon.... No problems. But like I said, it looks like a power creep to me, so I'm not holding my breath.
