Especially Blaziken was a bad idea, and not just design-wise.
The whole conceps of starter pokemon is to have a balance (the type triangles, all are 3-stage pokemon etc)
I dunno what Blaziken's deal is at all. First speed boost and now this.
And my three favourite starters
didn't get Flash fire (Typhlosion), Shell armor (Samurott) and Leaf guard (Meganium)
super useful abilities (Okay Flash fire is cool but Typhlosion is badly outclassed in UU/RU by many others)

Mewtwo looks ok. Tbh, the design is indifferent to me. It certainly bugged me at first that they messed with muh original legendary, but I guess it's not too bad after all.
Mawile looks really good, It's just sad that it isn't getting a real evo
