That's kinda weird. Would the trainer have to feed and treat both the Kangaskhan and her child? Teach the child how to battle as well?

It would be interesting. I hope the anime fleshes out with Mega Kangaskhan.

And even if they did make a pre evo of it, they would have to explain why it evolved and had a kid at the same time.
And now that they have this Batman and Robin mega evo shit going on I hate it even more.

a kangskhan doesn't hatch with a baby, they just don't bother to make "young" sprites for every single non-evolving pokemon that has a sort of large or adult appearance.

It does in the game though.
And let's be honest they've had five generations to rectify that and they've done nothing. And they're going to have to explain why it evolves with a child instead of just getting an egg in your party when they eventually make the pre evo.
My autism cripples me into a fit every time I look at it for these reasons.

You shouldn't take game assets at such face-value. Your character isn't a 16 pixel high sprite, buildings aren't larger on the inside than they are on the outside, your wartortle does not transform into a Seel when you surf, and a level 1 freshly-hatched Druddigon is not the same height as a presumed "adult" druddigon.

I guess no one who works on the game sees it as that big of an issue. Breeding is really more of a strategic addition than a roleplaying one.

I know that in the animé freshly hatched pokemon are smaller. May's squirtle was a lot smaller than Ash's and it was a baby.

Getting autistic over one thing but not another is double standards.

Even still, in the anime - the point remains. not everything will ever be all explained in a game or anime, or whatever form of writing. Just try not to sweat the little details so much.

I think it's just implied that younger pokemon are smaller, just in general. Honestly I think "time" itself is represented conceptually sometimes. Eggs hatch in steps because you're supposed to carry it around with you and assume it just hatched over time. Pokemon "training" itself is really more of an implied taming and conditioning process that the game mechanics only sort-of reflect.
