Is anybody else more excited for new Megas than new pokemon now?
I mean, I love most of the new pokemon so far, but I just can't wait to see what they'll do with some of my older favorites.

So many great pokémon that will hopefully be improved. I also want to see MegaHaunter and MegaScyther because fuck their regular evolutions.

The revelation of these Mega Evolutions really took my attention away from the new Pokémon they revealed. Of course with a groundbreaking revelation such as this it would've stolen the attention no matter when it was announced, but all of the remaining Pokémon they've left to reveal (Legendaries aside) probably won't be as exciting as the remaining Megas.

Not really complaining, just saying it's hard to get as excited about the new guys when these are pretty much made to steal the show.

I'm really liking this new feature and I hope it stays with the franchise and are not forgotten past gen 6.
I also hope that certain weaker Pokemon are given conventional evos and then magaevos on top of that.

I wasn't sure about Megas at first. But now I think they're awesome. I hope we get more cool concepts like Ampharos gaining Dragon typing (Denryu = Electric Dragon) and Kangaskhan's baby getting the Mega Evo. These are awesome ideas.

I really, really want to see Mega Banette. I want the zip to unzip and reveal to reveal the true power its been holding back for so long...
