>>13358987Even back in the day you'd have the occasionally scammer/thief. Literally have had two full decks stolen from me, years ago, but now the same card shop has lost all the players over thirty for a bunch of teens literally wearing fedoras that leave trash all over the shop, smell horrid, get in fights constantly, steals from the stores and each other etc. The shop literally wants to stop supporting the game to punish the players, but they're not allowed to back out of a contract with wizards until the end of the edition cycle rotation or something like that. They warn parents who brings their kids to not leave them to the vultures that are the new magic crowd, because they will walk out the shop crying when someone scams or steals everything of value from them or verbally abuses them. They've had to call the cops multiple times over these kinds of matters. Literally every tabletop, RP, board game, etc. player hates the card crowd for these reasons.
