How can you be so sure that's the case? Conkeldurr had like 25% health before the second attack hit. It could have done the same amount of damage the first hit did and we wouldn't know.

Clearly the Pokedex lied. Kangaskahn is actually a species of Pokemon that is always born as twins. One of the twins is the major and carries the minor around in a parent-child relationship. The minor probably does all of the thinking.

KANGA will be really cool, but it still won't be that great. Normal STAB alone basically condemns it to UU/RU because of all the spooks and steels littering the upper tiers.

...Unless it gets a nice buff to its Attack. ~110 BP would be high enough to make it decent choice for an OU team

Dammit. I think they really screwed up with Mega Evos.

Instead of making shit like Mawile and Ampharos usable, thay gave that shit to actually good pokemon so they had to make it so you can only have one OP pokemon in your team. On top of that, they can't hold items. Mawile is going to be as unusable as ever and chances of it getting an evolution are probably null now.

Mawile will probably never evolve, but it doesn't necessarely mean she is going to be useless.

WIth soe stats boosts, courtesy of Mega Evolution + Steel/Fairy + HUGE POWER it can quite a potent threat

Of course it all depends on how the stats evolve
