>>13360604I used to use whatever starter you were given exclusively, but an unexpected evolution changed all that. I was playing Diamond and had just gotten an Eevee to level up. I wanted to get an Umbreon, but fate had other plans. As I was leveling in Eterna forset i saw a weird rock; one poke later and my Eevee looked like some sort of plant-cat thing. I was enthralled, and my starter was soon forgotten in favor of my new poke-bro. He was also the first pokemon that I got up to level 100. Damn that was a fun run.
