I really hated 5th gens Gym music because it just was.. not intense... at all.
This beat adds that intensity.
kinda reminds me of Tekken Tag Tournament 2's Bountiful Sea stage theme....
Also, let's not rule out the possibility that this IS the leader music, and it was just translation stuff getting in the way.
