In about 10 hours, I have the privileged of going on a moderately well known podcast. This podcast is about video games, as well as Lets Plays, and they're having a guest episode. I was lucky enough to be one of the people picked, and essentially my topic is to defend pokemon as a concept, explain to people who may not have played it why it's fun as a video game, and also explain why many Lets Plays of pokemon games don't do very well, as well as why the few that do go well work.
So my question is this: If you were in my shoes, what would YOU bring up to explain why pokemon is a great video game? I've already got my talking points written down, but I'd like to hear what /vp/ thinks would be important, and if anyone brings up something I don't already have, I'll make sure to add it.
