evolutions

so besides the mega evolutions, which I think are pretty neat, which older pokemon do you think will be getting regular evolutions? also, which of the so far revealed gen 6 pokemon will get mega evolutions?

maybe honedge, or even talonflame seem like good candidates for it.

of the older pokes, I'd like dunsparce to get a regular evolution, and maybe a mega, but at least one permanent one.

I'd question them giving all starters Mega Evo's, especially the Kalos ones.

It would kind of take away from the Starter's final evolutions if the same gen give us stronger versions of the Pokemon. Also, if they do it that way, it will be likley that all starters are event item only.

You can't not just give a handful the mega evo's and not the rest. It means you'll have to wait a whole gen between the next batch, then thye have to make another three for thise starters too.

I'm really curious how many older gen pokemon will get new regular evolutions now that megavolutions are a thing.
I hope they don't entirely nix giving old ones new evos entirely.
Also makes me wonder if any of them will get new evos and a mega evolution at the same time this gen

I can see them doing silly things like giving Farfetch'd a larger leek. Something a evo would be pointless for, but makes perfect sense for a mega.

why not? not all of the starters need mega evos competitively speaking, (Blaziken didn't), and giving all of them mega evos seems like a bit too much. maybe in the story they'll explain why just some of them get them or something, of course that's speculating heh
