I really hope they don't do this. It'd ruin the whole idea of it. I hope Pikachu does it in the league and when it does, it wins them the semifinals match or something. Then they get to the finals, its once again down to pikachu to win it all, pikachu has been getting its shit kicked in, it mega evolves again, and still gets its shit kicked in and loses

swellow and sceptile, fine, okay. they are strong reliable dudes. swellow should have beaten latios imo, but whatever, still a solid pokemon. pikachu, fine, i get it, so it could be useful, and ash always loses with pikachu in the league, of course. but bringing fucking torkoal and gible? at least he had a strategy with heracross that SHOULD have worked, but fuck dude. ash DESERVED to lose that match for bringing torkoal and gible. torkoal is literally his worst pokemon from gen 1-4 i dont think torkoal has ever won ash a single battle, its torterra-tier awful

such god damn bullshit. that was probably the dumbest way for ash to lose. i know they were trying to do something different with ash not even being close, but fuck dude, at least let that have been the final battle for the entire league, and at least have tobias just switch around his pokes a lot and THATS why ash loses, and we could have seen some of tobias' pokes

whatever it already happened so theres nothing to be done. i just hate that it feels like i could write the pokemon anime better than the creators, and without having to make it dark so edge either
