No Worlds for me unless I manage to win my country's Nationals. The player base is dwindling and a lot of high level players are sick of the game's current state, so my chances could be better than this year.

I hope we'll finally get Worlds in Europe once the format is XY-on.

Sorry I'm still kinda new to Pokemon TCG. Was planning on making a Keldeo/Blastoise deck, but would the new Modified rules prevent me from getting certain cards? I know Blastoise has been reprinted for Plasma Blast and Keldeo is from Boundaries Crossed.

Who's ready for Megaevolutions to become the next power gimmick for the X/Y TCG Sets?

Think they'll be like Level X's and EXs where they can only be placed on the active and they are worth two prizes. Also one per deck because in the game you can only have one megaevolution per team.

In a Top 8 match, the announcers saw that he put an energy on a pokemon twice in one turn. Granted that his opponent didn't catch it and he probably forgot, but a few turns later a judge comes to talk to him and since they were already far ahead into the game, they decided to make him lose that round.

If the XY sets get simultaneous worldwide releases like the games do, the announcements would also be made at the same time in Japan and in the west. That would mean that any XY announcement would come at least a few days after Plasma Blast's release, you can't announce a new set while the previous one isn't even out yet.

Japan's next set hasn't had a release date (but then again I'm not familiar with Jap TCG expectations and shit) but I'm hoping we'll see the TCG sync up just like the VG. It seems appropriate really.

Don't bother selling them at 1 for $1 because everyone buys them in bulk and expects a discount because of it.

Gengar D&P would actually be somewhat viable in the current format. It's tanky enough to take a hit, meaning you're effectively guaranteed a knockout.

I'm sure there's a better way to do this, but here you go.

Also of note - wouldn't the old cards have to be treated as the most recent printing of themselves? I'm not entirely sure how Nintendo works reprints, but in other card games, a reprint with different rulings typically means that all old versions of the card are considered to have the new rulings.

If that were the case, then you cannot have any computer searches - old or new - alongside a master ball.

Some of my observations:

- It seems that I pull a LOT more Reversal Trigger and Plasma Energy compared to non-Team Plasma Trainers at almost double the rate
- I opened 7 full regular set worth of holos and 2 near complete ones with only 1 or 2 holos missing
- I also opened 15 full set worth of non-holo rares since the set's non-holo rare count is really small at only 15
- I only opened 1 full reverse holo set and the second set is missing two cards (wtf)
- Reverse Holo Pokemon Catcher and Ultra Ball are one per case

The result is well ... somewhat average (below if you look harder in certain aspects), but it could be a whole lot worse

Silver Mirror is around 2-3 per box on average. Also, that box isn't as bad as one of the DRX box where the only UR is Terrakion EX, imagine someone's face when they spend whatever amount it is for a box and get that in return.

As for value, they averagely go for about £10 ($15). But nice one pulling a FA in a one-off pack, and good job choosing Dark Explorers. Good set.

It'll be a contender, if not a tournament-winner, at Autumn BRs for sure. Suicune/Mirrors can give it some issues if you don't have a T2 G Booster or a T2 Leaf Wallop (from a tech'd-in Virizion NVI/PLB) set up or a couple of Tool Scrappers (but that last one is a given).

What's the general consensus on PB Haxorus? Two energies to knock out any Plasma seems like a real viable contender against VirGen and obviously Plasma decks. Dragon Call Gabite also gives it a lot of consistency, and you also get Fight Song support from Altaria so Haxorus can hit for 60 for one energy, 100 for two.
