Persian can do well in OU, but it's still only barely OU/BL material.
What's actually fearsome is Alakazam/Starmie's strong hits + longevity + ~20% chance to crit on each move.
If returning to Gen 1 mechanics, great. Fantastic. Persian would see use in a tier higher than it is now.
But the real winners are the Pokemon already strong and fast. Latios, Keldeo/Terrakion, etc.
>>13374159 This anon gets it, for a more non-OU approach.Crit has been nerfed since Gen 4's changes to the ways Crit can be boosted [needlessly, mind you, it's less reliable than a simple Sword Dance, yet so much harder to setup; only Beedrill can get max Crit chance+damage, but only when using Drill Run]. I look forward to any changes in favor of critical hits.
