I thought a bunch of team rocket goons trying to rebuild it was kind of lame. I personally didn't care for the plot, and the fact that they used TR again. I don't care if it was a continuation; especially in the original G/S, it was a bunch of team rocket guys we don't care about trying to bring their organization back. It felt very empty and barren in my opinion.
