Hey /vp/,

I've recently started a Fire Red run through and I've come across the issue of finding a decent water pokemon. It seems as though every single gen I water pokemon is really good, and I can't seem to whittle out the best of the best.
You've got Blastoise, Golduck, Seadra/Kingdra, Seaking, Vaporeon, Poliwrath, Tentacruel, Dewgong, Cloyster, Starmie, Gyardos, and Lapras to name a few.
What's your favorite water gen I pokemon?
Are there any gens that you feel are completely stacked when it comes to one or more type?
