Second Megaformes means that if you like MegaMawile you're boned. You wanted to pet it on PokemonAmie, Have it recorded on the Hall of Fame, enter in contests with it, or simply show off to your friends? Too bad you're stuck with regular Mawile.
Not to mention Megaevolutions are unflexible metagame-wise with no hold items, and previous stages are fucked. If Sableye gets a Megaevolution without Prankster and it ends up being shit, Sableye will be shit too, because fairies and power creep. At least Rhydon can abuse Eviolite.
And lastly there is no limit to "make room for". GF doesn't give a fuck. They have a 8 gig card and only used 1.7 gb. If they wanted they could add 300 pokémon at once
