I'm 26 now and i grew up during the pokemon craze of the late 90s. I've played and beaten at least one of the games from each generation. I recently replayed Diamond over again and i found it funny that even though i'm in a new region with all kinds of pokemon from later gens, i still had a team that consisted of mostly gen 1 pokemon. I also feel this way about the TV show. I own all of season one on DVD and have no desire to buy the later seasons. Don't get me wrong, i like later gen pokemon, but the first 151 hold a special place in my heart. Any of you newer fans feel this way about the gen you started with first?
