as soon as the battle ends the pokemon reverts right back.
That said, any moves it learns can and will most likely be learned when its "normal"
This is the only thing I hate about "Mega Evolutions" because they chose to use the term "Evolution" which, as far as Pokemon is concerned, has always been a one-way street that if forgot to use the B-button (or used a stone or whatever) then there's no going back.
This, if anything, is a limit break/forme change.
It's NOT an evolution.
