>>13387078Because it uses the term "Mega" and Digimon uses the term Mega too! Except not, since Mega is only in the english version as a Digimon's final form because they chose to change it for no fucking reason. In the Japanese version, the final form is called Ultimate. Whereas both the English and Japanese terms for Mega Pokemon and Mega Evolution are the same. So basically, it's a bunch of people being autistic over it for no reason besides the ability to say "they're running out of ideas!" or "but dey stole mega from digimans!"
Personally, I think the word Mega was a poor choice. Even Super or Ultra or even Hyper sounds better, but meh, I can live with it.
